Ghost / Spirit / Mime (Lucy)
In a horror/ghost story movie there is always a ghost or spirit of some sort. This is used in most of the "jumpy" scenes to scare the audience and is used in tense situations. This ghost is also used as the driving force to the narrative.

Location:

Studio in Sunderland - This is what I used to take the images for my film magazine front cover.
My Bedroom - This was the location for certain scenes in my trailer. This is common for a horror movie to have haunted scenes in the bedroom and I wanted to follow this convention.
My Hallway - This is used to distinguish between each room.
My Garden - A different setting to inside a house and is used to show time and day.

I chose to use my house/garden for the whole setting instead of moving around different locations. In horror films they usually stick to one location that is particularly haunted so I decided to follow this common convention.

Props:

Antiques - Necklace, Ornaments, Books, Ball.
Antique looking items are also another common horror movie prop. They had mystery, creepiness and history.
Bag - to put items in

Costume:

Two Sisters - Modern everyday wear to in keep with the setting. Usually black and dark colours to match the tone and mood of the trailer.
Mime - black and white stripy top as this is a common and recognizable outfit for a mime character.

Make up:

Traditional Mime make up - white face, black eyes and eyebrows.
This makeup is creepy and haunting without being gory, bloody and unsuitable to my target audience.

LOCATION IMAGES (Location reece)

Horror films are usually set in one place and usually this consists of a haunted house. Therefore I will follow this convention and set my film in my house. These are the different rooms I will use.
