This is the first draft and the first part of my film trailer script...

Film Trailer Script – Eve Jefferson

EXT. FOREST – NIGHT

FADE TO: establishing shot of the forest.

QUICK CUT TO: tracking shot of the forest.

The MIME is an early twenties female who appears out of the blue with a solemn expression.

QUICK CUT TO: Extreme close up of MIMES eyes.

EXT. PARK - NIGHT

CUT TO: Close up of Swings swinging and Diegetic sound of this movement.

EXT. STREET – DAY

Enter CARA and CHLOE two sisters in their late teens, they have brown hair and have happy expressions.

CUT TO: Over the shoulder shot of CARA and CHLOE

DIALOGUE: Muffled talking but Non Diegetic music covers what they are saying.

QUICK CUT TO: TRACKING SHOT of CARA and CHLOE talking

CUT TO: CLOSE UP of green hedge with ruffling of the leaves.

INT. HOUSE – DAY

CUT TO: Low Angle shot of CARA running down the stairs carrying a letter with a surprised and anxious look on her face.

QUICK CUT TO: Close up shot of CHLOE’S face to show her reaction to CARA’S anxiousness.

CUT TO: Extreme Close up of Letter in CARA’S hands containing an old fashioned, black and white, Polaroid image. Zoom into next shot.

 EXT. PARK – NIGHT

CUT TO: Establishing shot of the park. Music changes to creepy jingle.

‘CREEPING UP TO A CINEMA NEAR YOU’ text fades onto the top of the screen in white font.

Text fades out.

CUT TO: Close up shot of white door, moving forward making a loud creek.

CUT TO: Complete black screen

CARA: (only voice) CHLOE?!

Loud Bang

QUICK CUT TO: Close up Shot of Mime smirking with an evil expression.

(This will my script first draft and after much consideration I decided to change this as I felt less speech and fewer locations would be more effective and easier to achieve.)
